How much can it cost to develop a product?
The cost depends on the complexity of the project. Simpler products might cost as little as $2000 to develop and $500 for small scale manufacturing.
More complex products can cost upwards of $50,000 to develop and $100,000 for manufacturing and setup.

How capable are you with App development?
We focus on the technical aspects of app development so that your software can interface with your product. For example, we can create the technical architecture of iOS and Android apps using Bluetooth serial or app-server Wi-Fi.
What about mobile UI/UX?
We’re not experienced mobile UI/UX developers. We provide the technical guts to create great mobile apps. This is often enough for simpler products. For more complex products we can provide the framework of an app which a UI/UX developer can build upon.
What kind of manufacturing can you handle in-house?
We can assemble small volumes (up to 50 units) of PCBs, and 3D printing of mechanical prototypes.
What kind of links do you have with manufacturers?
Yes. We have a number of trusted manufacturers. We know how they work, what they expect, and we trust them. They include:
- US-based manufacturers for PCBs, product assembly and box build
- China-based manufacturers for PCB and product assembl
- Ireland-based manufacturers for PCB manufacture
- UK-based plastic injection moulding
All our manufacturers use RoHS compliant methods.
What if it goes wrong?
Product development is incredibly exciting but occasionally things can go wrong.
Most manufacturing errors can be avoided with rigorous design and product specification. We work with manufacturers who guarantee a 90% pass rate of their production units, or a remanufacture at no cost.
We rely on milestones to ensure that our clients only pay for the milestones that we deliver on. In the worst case our milestone deliverables are transferred to you, so you can take them elsewhere.
I’ve got a team already, can you help?
Absolutely! We will work with you and your concept designers to provide the technical design necessary to achieve your product.
Do you really never outsource?
Yes. We don’t trust anyone but ourselves to deliver quality designs. All technical design is done in-house and supervised by our technical director, Josh.
We do outsource large scale manufacturing to our trusted manufacturers. By this point, the product design is complete.
Can you help with market research?
No. We aren’t market research experts. We focus purely on technical development because it’s what we love and it’s what we’re good at.
