The Engimake QuadBot was a personal project by our founder, Josh, to promote robotics in education.

The main board, with added capabilities for Bluetooth communication, was designed on the assumption that it might be exposed. Therefore it had to be rugged and safe for children to handle.

While the external chassis was designed to be fabricated using 3D printing, a number of QuadBots were put into mass production.

Josh launched a Kickstarter for this project which achieved 400% of its funding goal.

Full design files for QuadBot have been made available under an open source license to encourage more people to experiment with robotics.
